YES WE VOTE Scavenger Hunt in the Hague

On September 19th, The Hague, as the international city of peace and justice, offers a unique backdrop to explore the history of holding power accountable. YES WE VOTE brings that history to life with a team scavenger hunt through The Hague's legacy of resistance and justice.

Teams of five will move across a city of courts, protest sites, bookstores, memorial stones, and public squares. Along the way, teams will solve clues, complete challenges, and uncover stories about democracy, dissent, memory, women’s organizing, and the people who refused to let power go unanswered. From the Dutch Resistance in WWII to the global fight for human rights. It’s fun. It’s The Hague. And it ends with one reminder that the resistance figured out a long time ago: showing up works. Protest works. Voting works. Collective action works. Come ready to move, think, and leave with your ballot requested.

Hosted by the Global Women's Caucus and DA Netherlands, the event begins with a simple civic act: all eligible U.S. voters will confirm that they have requested their 2026 ballot through Vote From Abroad, with voter assistance available on site for anyone who still needs help.

Come ready to explore, collaborate, and leave with your ballot requested!
