    Progressive Snapshot of the Primaries

The first slate of midterm primaries/runoffs have given us plenty to ponder, as we get ready for the 44 on deck over the summer. Yup, it’s time to take stock. Join the Global Progressive Caucus to discuss:

    • The lay of the land
    • What’s at stake
    • Early trends + what to expect on the road ahead
    • Opportunities to take action

RSVP below to join with proDA to discuss how we can unite our voices for progress and win!

Optional resources to prepare for the discussion:

This event is part of the series Monthly Mondays for Progressive Minds.

Thanks to our co-sponsors: Reparations Task Force, proDA Austria, proDA Germany.

RSVP below for the Zoom link!

You can inform and mobilize members around the world to make progress and win in the midterms. The Fight for (at least) $15. Meaningful Medicare expansion. Student debt relief. Reparative justice. Climate change action. Voting rights. And more. Will you help America build back better and get out the vote for progress? Please donate here. Thank you!

  • WHAT’S ON THE BALLOT AND WHAT’S AT STAKE IN AZ?

WHAT’S ON THE BALLOT AND WHAT’S AT STAKE IN AZ ?

Join us on Zoom to meet your fellow Arizona overseas voters!

Invited:  DA members who vote in AZ, and friends and allies of our critical-2022-midterm state.

Come meet other AZ voters abroad, compare Democratic primary candidates and discuss challenges facing our state.  Find out how you can help find or call AZ voters abroad or otherwise spread the voting word. Help turn our purple state blue!

    When: Tuesday May 24, 1 - 3pm ET  //  7 - 9pm CET
    Where:  Zoom

For Dems to keep the US Senate, it is CRITICAL that we re-elect Mark Kelly!

Four Arizona US House seats are close:  (using the new congressional district #s):  AZ-04 Greg Stanton is slightly ahead, Ann Kirkpatrick’s AZ-06 is redistricted to be slightly tougher for us to keep, and Tom O'Halleran’s AZ-02 even tougher. In AZ-01 – where we got so close to beating Republican (ugh) David Schweikert in 2020 – it’s do-able this year!

Our overseas votes can be the deciders.

We’ll share candidate profiles for these KEY federal races, as well as for Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and a couple of state legislature races. (Republicans have only the slimmest of majorities in both houses = one seat!)

Which candidates do you prefer and which issues are most pressing?

Hope to see & hear from you on Zoom May 24th!

RSVP BELOW to get the meeting link!

RTF Monthly Meeting - May 2022

The Democrats Abroad Reparations Task Force is dedicated to tackling economic, racial, and political injustice head on. Join us as we fight to keep the Biden Administration accountable to its own promises to address racial disparities. This is important because H.R. 40 (the Reparations Study Bill) runs a risk of running out of time for a vote. We will not let that happen, for the stakes are too high.
On May 31st at 18:30 Central European Time / 12:30 p.m. Eastern US Time, we will be discussing recent developments in the US reparations movement, on-going successes in reparations activism/advocacy, and further opportunities to get involved as we march towards Juneteenth.
Before the meeting, please make sure to check out two curated pieces from RTF Educational Organizer Daniel Stein:
