NBC News' Lester Holt, Savannah Guthrie and Chuck Todd, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and Telemundo's José Diaz-Balart will moderate the debate.
To assist us with space planning, we would appreciate you taking a moment to indicate your plans to attend. Please RSVP by replying to this email with a simple “YES! I’ll be there on [insert date]. You can put it right in the Subject line, or in the first line of your email. Either is fine!
Nah, there is no dress code - JUST KIDDING! But… do you already have a favorite Democratic Primary candidate? Do you have a t-shirt or hat that illustrates the issues that are near and dear to your heart? Do you have 2016 campaign togs? NOW is the time to WEAR YOUR CAMPAIGN FLAIR!
Feel free to bring along a guest - we also know plenty of locals who are politically-curious and very concerned about how events in the US are affecting Canadians and shaping politics here.
This event is run by volunteers. If you are financially able, we would greatly appreciate a donation to Democrats Abroad at the event - a minimum $5 donation would be wonderful!
Don’t forget… you will have to REGISTER IN JANUARY to get your ballot in 2020! See www.votefromabroad.org! You MUST send in the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to request my ballot every calendar year. Under Federal law – even if you’re already registered to vote – states are only required to send your ballots if you have submitted an FPCA during that calendar year. Some states send ballots without an annual FPCA, but others are very strict, and conditions can change unexpectedly. You don’t want to find out too late that you’ve missed your chance to vote!
Please bring your IDEAS, and we will be delighted to add them to our list! And if YOU are interested in serving on our first official Board of Directors, we are still looking for volunteers!
We look forward to seeing you this week!
