Candidate Information Session for anyone ready to do the good, hard work of democracy

The Democrats Abroad Canada Nominations & Elections Committee (NEC) is seeking nominations for the positions below for the 2025-2027 term. Election results will be announced at the DemsAbroad Canada Annual General Meeting, on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

If you want to learn about the scope of work and time commitments for any of the offices open for election, get an insider's view of what your Democrats Abroad Canada board members do in their roles by attending the Candidate Information Session on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 8:00 PM EDT / 5:00 PM PDT. You'll need to RSVP below to receive the Zoom link. 

As a member of the board you may be located anywhere in Canada - from coast, to coast, to coast. Our table is virtual, and board meetings are conducted via Zoom. 

Nominations will close at 11:59 PM PDT, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

The NEC seeks nominations for the following offices:  

• Country Committee Chair *
• Executive Vice Chair *
• Two Vice Chairs* 
• Secretary*
• Treasurer*
• Counsel*
• Membership Secretary* 
• IT Manager* 
• Volunteer Manager* 
• Programs and Events Manager*
• Plus an additional 12 DPCA Voting Representatives

* These Officers are also elected to serve as DPCA Voting Representatives for the global body.
