As a member of the board you may be located anywhere in Canada - from coast, to coast, to coast. Our table is virtual - participation in board meetings is via Zoom.
The Democrats Abroad Canada Nominations & Elections Committee (NEC) is seeking nominations for the positions below for the 2025-2027 term. Election results will be announced at the DemsAbroad Canada Annual General Meeting, on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Nominations will close at 11:59 PM PDT, on Thursday, March 26, 2025. Please act now!

Whether you bring your education, career experience, or a deep passion to turn out the vote from the 800,000 U.S. citizens living in Canada, there is a place for you to make a meaningful contribution to preserving U.S. democracy. Your skills and talents are needed now more than ever before.
The NEC seeks nominations for the following offices:
- Country Committee Chair *
- Executive Vice Chair *
- Two Vice Chairs
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Counsel
- Membership Secretary
- IT Manager
- Volunteer Manager
- Programs and Events Manager
These Officers are also elected to serve as DPCA Voting Representatives for the global body.
The Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) also seeks nominations for an additional 12 DPCA Voting Representatives allocated to Canada and 2 Alternate DPCA Voting Representatives. As per the Democrats Abroad Charter, DPCA Voting Representatives shall be elected following the gender balance rules.
* Per the DA Canada Bylaws, the DPCA Charter, and DNC Rules, the Chair and Executive Vice-Chair must be of different genders.
