WHO CAN VOTE IN THE GLOBAL PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY? 

• Primary Voters must meet the following criteria:
  • Be abroad and be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be a member of Democrats Abroad 
  • Be at least 18 years old by November 3, 2020
  • Not have voted, nor plan to vote, in any other 2020 state presidential primary
• Democrats Abroad allows same day registration for voters participating in the Global Presidential Primary 
• Voters may register in-person or by signing up at democratsabroad.org/join
• Voters abroad may also vote by downloading a ballot and emailing or postal mailing it to Democrats Abroad, starting from February 18, 2020. Ballots must be received by DA prior to 12:00 am Pacific Standard Time on March 11, 2020.

* Ballot assistance events are informal events where volunteers help other US voters do the same things they can do from home via the GPP Remote Ballot process -- eligible voters can join Democrats Abroad (if they haven't already), get a Remote Ballot (we will have them printed and on hand) and then assistance returning the ballot by email to [email protected], but in a social setting. Unlike an official voting center there is no ballot box.
