Request Your Ballot: DA Germany 2025-2027 Leadership Elections

2025 is an election year for Democrats Abroad Germany. For the first time, we will be holding online elections from Tuesday, March 11, 2025 until Sunday, March 23, 2025. To participate (and vote!) members must “request a ballot” by RSVP'ing to this event page. The results will be announced at DA Germany’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 29, 2025.

You can request a ballot (by RSVP'ing to this page) until Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 6:00 pm CET. Each individual member must RSVP (you can not RSVP on behalf of multiple people).

On March 11, 2025, members that have requested a ballot will receive an email with an individual voting code and links to the ballots. A test ballot will be sent during the week prior to the start of the elections.

Who is an eligible voter?

  1. All DAG members are eligible electors in DAG national elections.
  2. Any U.S. citizen living in Germany who will be 18 or older by the next U.S. federal election and who supports the principles of the Democratic Party is eligible to vote in the upcoming DAG national elections if they join DA on or before the deadline for registering to vote in said DAG national elections.
  3. In order to vote in DAG national elections, an elector must be a DAG member and have registered to vote in the DAG national elections by Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 6:00 pm CET. The NEC may arrange for an alternative method of voting (e.g. call-ins) for DAG members without internet service.
