Planning for the April 14th Science March Rally will be our primary agenda point for this evening.
We will be doing a voter registration table in the Schillerplatz during the rally and need as many volunteers as we can get. Don’t worry if you’ve never helped out with voter registration before. We are counting on our many “DA chapter veterans” to come this evening and help with the “how-to.”
There is no more important task for our chapter this year than to help all our fellow Americans living in the Stuttgart area to claim their right to vote!
Please be there to help us plan for a really successful event.
An RSVP is always helpful
In 2017, more than one million people around the world gathered together in the largest event for science advocacy in history. Our Stuttgart Chapter was among the throng, travelling all the way to Tübingen to stand up for Science.
This year we are proud to be co-sponsoring the Science March Rally right here in Stuttgart.
We are particularly honored to announce that the roster of illustrious guest speakers will include Dr. Radhika Puttagunta, the prominent Heidelberg neuro-scientist, who also happens to be a member of our own Stuttgart Chapter.
So make some signs and come with your families to stand up for science!
The very best way to defend science is to make sure that every American living overseas claims their right to vote. We will have a non-partisan voter registration table right in the Schillerplatz during the rally and will be ready to help all Americans with requesting their ballot for all elections coming up this year, including the crucial November 6th mid-terms!
Please do tell any Americans you know to stop by to request their ballot. It only takes a few minutes!

We look forward to seeing you there!
Join our phonebanking training session and call a Fellow Expat Dem!
We will be getting together at a DA member’s private home to learn about how to call Democrats around the world to remind them to request their ballot.
DA uses an online system that lets you call voters from a computer for free-all you need is internet access. The script is displayed on the computer screen right in front of you along with the voter’s information. Just follow the script!
Phonebanking is one of the most effective ways we have of reaching our members and getting out the vote! And once you get the hang of it, it is really kind of fun reaching out to fellow Dems around the world. Give it a try!
Since we will be meeting at the home of a volunteer you will need to RSVP (below) to receive exact directions to the event.
See you there!
