Friday, April 8th, 18:00 – 21:00:

Wine & Cheese Open House

In these turbulent times, we want to provide an opportunity for our members to gather and enjoy the comforts of camaraderie. You're welcome to contribute a bottle of wine, some beer, an appetizer, some cheese, etc. - but a contribution is definitely not expected or required. Come alone or with a partner or friend.

The party will take place at a member’s apartment overlooking Holzhausenpark in Nordend, Frankfurt with large windows guaranteeing a good air flow.

Aschaffenburg In-Person Breakfast

Join other US citizens and their families for breakfast, discussion and camaraderie on Sunday, March 27th at Restaurant Wanderheim Gailbach (Dörrmorsbacher Str. 85, 63743 Aschaffenburg) between 9:00 – 12:00. (Organized by U.S. Veterans of Aschaffenburg and their families.)

And it’s not just “any” breakfast….

CELEBRATE WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH WITH DAG WOMEN'S CAUCUS

Reproductive rights are hanging in the balance and are essentially at the risk of being erased!

The National Women's History Alliance's theme of Women's History Month 2022 is "Providing Healing, Promoting Hope”. This DAG Women's Caucus and Wiesbaden Mainz Chapter event will focus on reproductive rights: where we were, where we are, where we want to be and what we can do!

Please join us for the two short films Roe at Risk and When Abortion was Illegal, discussion on Reproductive Justice, and learn what you can do to help.

Sunday, April 23rd, 12:30:

Mid-Hessen Luncheon

All are invited to join the fun for the Middle Hessen Precinct spring social and voter outreach. Bring your family and your American friends. You can also forward the Meet-Learn-Party! webpage to other Americans who would like to come.

  • MC Spike Richardson and DJ Herb Ruffin will keep us entertained with American hits.
  • Your questions answered about voting and voter registration. Every US citizen living abroad has the right to vote.
  • Information for dual citizens and their children.

There is plenty of parking, but if you need transport from the Reiskirchen Bahnhof, let Angela know when you RSVP.

If you are concerned about the health of our democracy, please join our chapter’s “COUNT ME IN!”campaign. Simply email us at [email protected] and state: “COUNT ME IN!”.

We will then send you (via regular mail) a suggestion of one concrete task each month to make a difference and do your part.

 

In case you missed this update:

 

2022 monthly chapter meetings: 4th Thursday of the month 18:30 p.m.

Our monthly chapter meetings will now be held on the 4th Thursday of the month starting at 18:30 (instead of the 4th Monday of the month). The agenda will typically provide for 30 minutes of chapter administration items from 18:30 – 19:00 with any program or speakers beginning at 19:00.
