Disability Voting Rights Week is September 8-12, 2025

There are five pieces of legislation that directly impact disability voting rights:

  1. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  2. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA)
  3. The Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped Act of 1984 (VAEHA)
  4. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA)
  5. The Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA)
