Under Noem’s leadership - and with Stephen Miller’s direction - ICE has terrorized communities, violated constitutional protections, detained and deported U.S. citizens, and carried out raids that have resulted in deaths and widespread human rights abuses. Rather than acting to protect the public, Noem has repeatedly lied to cover up ICE violence and praised deadly force against unarmed civilians. Stephen Miller has openly championed these abuses, designing and defending policies intended to instill fear, punish dissent, and strip people of basic rights.
