DAUK Stars & Gripes Art Zine Online Launch Party

Stars & Gripes is an Art Zine created by the Democrats Abroad (UK) Youth Caucus, launched in August 2025. The project invited all Democrats Abroad members to reflect on the U.S. social and political climate through creative expression. Its aim was to explore new and diverse ways for members to engage with issues they care about, allowing their voices to be heard beyond traditional forms of political participation.

We received 27 submissions from across the global Democrats Abroad community, including the United Kingdom, France, China, Qatar, Italy, Israel, Sweden, and Norway. Each piece offers a unique and personal perspective, highlighting the creativity and passion of our international community.

We are delighted to announce that the Zine will be officially published in December 2025. To celebrate its release, we will be hosting an online launch party via Zoom on 11 December open to all Democrats Abroad members.

The events will include a welcome from the Stars & Gripes editors, an overview of the publication, and presentations from contributing authors who will share insights about their pieces.

We warmly invite and encourage everyone to attend these events to celebrate the incredible work of our contributors and enjoy an inspiring evening of art and expression.
