DAUK Yorkshire & The Humber Meet-Up

Calling DAUK Members in the Yorkshire area, please join us on Saturday, 17 January at 2:00pm for an opportunity to meet over drinks, connect with others, and celebrate International Voter Registration Day (IVRD)!

The midterms start January 1 for voters abroad. Why is that? Because that is the first day you can apply for your ballot. This will ensure you get all the ballots for the year - the primaries, special elections, and the general election on November 3, 2026. 

Voters who live overseas have to request their ballot EVERY year. If you want to make sure your ballot is protected and arrives on time to get counted for November, make applying for your ballot one of your top New Year’s resolutions.

International Voter Registration Day is on January 15. You can apply for your ballot alone from home, but why not join others to do it and build communities of action at the same time?!

This year, DAUK is hosting in-person events all around the country for this purpose!
