Get in Good Trouble on July 17

On July 17, Democrats Abroad joins Americans around the world to honor the legacy of Congressman John Lewis with a day of nonviolent action—Good Trouble Lives On.

From sidewalk rallies in Mexico, to protests in Dublin and Brussels, and public readings in Hamburg, we’re taking a stand against the Trump administration’s assault on civil and human rights. Find an event and join in!

No event near you? Join our online event featuring voting rights leader David Pepper!

David Pepper, author, election law professor, and former Chair of the Ohio Democratic Party, will speak on the urgent fight against voter suppression and why we need Good Trouble now more than ever. This virtual event on July 17th at 12pm Eastern is open to all and is a powerful way to take action from anywhere.

We’re rising up against felony disenfranchisement, voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act, and escalating attempts to silence our voices. As John Lewis taught us, getting in good trouble is our responsibility.
