Global Women’s Caucus D.C. Meet & Greet
We are thrilled to invite all DA members to join us in the Hotel Zena lounge on Thursday June 8th, from 5-7 pm Eastern for a celebration of female empowerment and inclusivity!

Hear from our own GWC leaders and special guests about why women are the key to electoral success this season and how all DA members can empower the feminist wave. We’ll also hear from our DNC representative Martha McDevitt-Pugh who will give us an update on her work with the DNC Women’s Caucus.
GWC volunteers will be on hand with information on who we are, what we do, and how our team of women’s issue specialists can help DA leaders in every region to engage new members and mobilize the vast power of women voters living abroad in the upcoming election season.

The "Portrait Gallery" in Hotel Zena's lobby features the stories of female warriors. It displays artwork celebrating ten powerful women, in addition to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who have made significant contributions in the struggle for Women's Rights and Gender Equality. Additional portraits include the indomitable Shirley Anita Chisholm, the first African American woman elected to the United States Congress and the first woman Democrat to run for President of the United States. It is one of two pieces of art inspired by Ms. Chisholm; the other is a hanging installation constructed of painted folding chairs in celebration of her famous statement: "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair."
