GWC March 2025 Newsletter

As we begin Women’s History Month, we are keenly aware that women’s rights and democracy itself are under attack as never before.

We are in a moment of crisis. The rights of ordinary people – women, LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and marginalized communities – are being systematically targeted through a radicalized Republican agenda that is not reflective of the country we wish to be.

So, we are fighting back-loudly, relentlessly, and together.

STAY ENGAGED: Resistance happens in legislative chambers and courthouses, at the ballot box and on the phone. It can take minutes, or years. Our Resistance Advocacy Program equips members and leaders to defend democracy and drive change at every level—from quick actions to long-term campaigns. With a focus on coordinated strategies and actionable priorities, we provide tools to amplify our impact. Get our rapid response materials for activist outreach-sign up to be notified!

March 8th is just the beginning. The fight doesn’t stop until we win.

Women’s history is still being written—by us! Let’s make it one of progress, not rollback.

In solidarity,
