GWC: The Feminist Hackathon
The Feminist Hackathon is an all-day, hands-on power lab for women who are done asking permission and ready to build something together. Join us on March 8, 2026 5AM-1PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) / 10AM-6PM. CET
On International Women’s Day, women from around the world come together to answer a question that's on everyone's mind: Who wields power, and how do we take it back?
You will collaborate, play, experiment, argue, create, demystify, test ideas, and leave with real tools, real connections, and a clear next step. No coding involved or expertise required - just your brain, your experience, your creativity and whatever “random” skills you’ve been told don’t belong in politics. Spoiler: they do.
Each block offers multiple paths. Hack, Learn, Play, and Activate. From guerrilla GOTV tactics and feminist trivia to zines, narrative warfare, voter registration training, and unapologetically bold messaging, every room is designed to produce something concrete. There will also be a film screening and a speaker which will motivate you to vote and to make sure everyone you know votes.

This is a space for first-timers and seasoned organizers alike. It's for all generations. A space to test ideas fast, fail forward, and figure out how to mobilize the most powerful voting bloc in the United States: women.
