Annual general meeting (AGM) 2026 in Umeå

The program includes a report from the chair of Democrats Abroad Sweden, presentations from each of the five chapters, a report on get-out-the-vote efforts, and a business meeting where, among other matters, we'll be voting on amendments to the organization's bylaws.

The venue will be the beautiful Tegskyrkan. It takes about 25 minutes to walk there from Central Station or 19 minutes by bus (either Bus 2, toward Söderslätts handelsomr., or 9, toward Röbäck).

There are several flights and trains to Umeå daily. There are many reasonable accommodations in town, from hostels, such as the Norrland YMCA Hostel, where some of us will be staying, and the Scandic Plaza, where others will be staying. For other possibilities, have a look at the Visit Umeå page.
