On Sunday 18 January, the Stockholm-Uppsala chapter of Democrats Abroad Sweden (DAS) organized a kickoff for International Voter Registration Day at the English Bookshop in Uppsala. The day was dedicated to assisting US voters in requesting their ballots from VoteFromAbroad for the primaries, midterms, and special elections coming up in 2026. DAS members came by for assistance after being contacted by the chapter. Passersby saw the Vote from Abroad flags outside and came into the shop. Business was brisk, and the three DAS volunteers on hand were kept busy all day. Many thanks to the English Bookshop for kindly allowing us to occupy their current affairs section!
