When I first got involved in 2003 to help overseas Americans learn how to request ballots and vote, I found Democrats Abroad also led to great conversations with interesting people about important issues. As an organization recognized as part of the Democratic Party, we hold a Global Primary and send delegates to the Democratic National Convention. You can find a great mix of reasons to get involved, and your getting involved does make a difference.
