Democracy Action Hub #4 - Northern District Library - Toronto
Join us for our third Democracy Action Hub! We are piloting this project in neighborhoods that are dense with American Citizens, according to the Census -- hoping to reach a great number of Americans!
At this hub event we'll be concentrating on GOTV Walks. That's a quiet walk together in small groups with provided routes, handouts, signs and banners in our Blue Democrats Abroad and Vote from abroad T-Shirts. While others in the group poster telephone poles telling Americans how to vote. Posing in these lines will make powerful videos for social media!
We'll have planning sessions for this and future walks, including the event in solidarity with No Kings events in the States, Oct 17 3-5 pm, by CanAm United, a the new voter promoting group in formation. Election Solidarity Rally
As in every other hub event, we'll have Voter Help Station - get help registering or sending back your ballot.
Pick up a Yard Sign!
Social Media Station - we'll be filming and taking photo shoots for social media. Amplify your voice!
Can your Canadian friends help? Yes they can! The GOTV Walks are open to anyone!
We will not have Post Card Stations, as we had at the first stations. We successfully sent post cards to over 1,600 of our members in Swing States!!
We hope you can pitch in by volunteering or donating!
This event is not hosted by or sponsored by the Toronto Public Library.
