The first-ever General Meeting for Democrats Abroad Kenya will be held Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 10:00am. The location will be determined well in advance of the meeting and information on how to attend will be distributed by email to all those who RSVP using this link: https://www.democratsabroad.org/kenyagm
We members of Democrats Abroad will come together to establish a new Country Committee by:
- Adopting Bylaws for Democrats Abroad Kenya (DAKE)
- Electing new Executive Committee members for the period 2021 – 2023
- Considering other matters as may properly come before the meeting
Any member of Democrats Abroad residing in Kenya is eligible to submit their candidacy for any of the open positions of the Executive Committee: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Counsel, and two Members at Large.
You may submit your candidacy to the Nominations & Elections Committee by following directions sent to you by email on June 2, 2021. If you did not receive an email, you may not be a member -- please contact the Nominations and Elections Committee at [email protected]
You must submit your candidacy for office before June 17. Directions for voting in the upcoming elections will be distributed to all members by email on June 20.
