Online Portuguese Wine Tasting and DA Fundraiser
Raise a glass to democracy! Invite your friends to appreciate a glass of quality wine and connect with fellow Americans in Portugal on Saturday May 28 at 7 pm.
Democrats Abroad Portugal has asked Mr. Pedro Gallego, owner of the wine exporting company Outwine, to organize a presentation about Portuguese wines. Mr. Gallego will present an overview of the wine producing regions in Portugal and speak about the influence of geography on the wines produced. A couple of wine producers will then speak about their wines. Outwine will ship the wines to be discussed for 30€ to DAPT members living in Portugal. You can order the wines directly on their site.
NOTE: There are TWO STEPS involved in attending this event:
1. Please RSVP below so that you will receive the link to the event.
2. Order your wines on Outwine before May 15, 2022 to allow ample time for delivery.
We are also planning to raise funds to support our Get Out the Vote activities at this event. As a 100% volunteer organization, we rely upon donations to support our outreach, voter registration and voter assistance events. You can make a donation here. Gifts in any amount are greatly appreciated.
