IMPORTANT BALLOT INFORMATION FOR AZ VOTERS
If you have your ballot already and want more info on candidates and AZ ballot propositions, see these voter guides
- From AZ Dems: https://azdemvoterguide.org/
- From Civic Engagement Beyond Voting: https://cebv.substack.com/p/cebv-2024-propositions-guide?emdi=a977aa28-ef78-ef11-991a-6045bdee6681
If you don’t have your ballot yet
-
Go to www.votefromabroad.org to fill out the ballot request form (FPCA).
- Check the box on the form to receive your ballot by email
-
Pay attention to the “intent to return” question on the form. Republicans currently control the AZ State Legislature by a slim margin. The Legislature is where critical issues such as education, abortion rights and gun laws are decided. AZ needs to flip only two seats to control both the AZ House and Senate. Please vote down the ballot and support all of our Democratic candidates!
- If you mark “I intend to return”on the ballot request form you will receive a full ballot and can vote for federal and state and local races (like state legislators). You don’t need a definite date of return.
- If you mark “My return is uncertain,” you will receive a federal-only ballot and can vote only for President and US House and Senate.
- Print and sign the form. Follow the instructions to send it to your county recorder by email.
- AZ started sending out ballots on September 20. Check your inbox and spam.
Arizonans abroad can:
- request their ballot (and/or register to vote) by email
- receive their blank ballot by email
- return their voted ballot by upload or by email
Deadlines for ballot request and ballot return are 7 PM November 5! But don’t wait!
Once you’ve got your ballot!
- Print the ballot and vote (for every race on your ballot)!
- Sign the voter affidavit.
- Follow instructions to return your voted ballot and signed affidavit by online upload or email.
- Follow instructions to track your ballot (on the AZ secretary of state’s website) to make sure it gets there and is counted.

Already voted in AZ Primary this year?
If you filled out a FPCA for a 2024 primary ballot, you don’t need to resubmit it unless anything has changed (such as intent to return if this was not checked previously). Pro tip: Election officials will use the latest form to send your ballot, even if you have already received a ballot.
You should have received your ballot by now. Check your inbox and spam. If you haven’t received it, contact your county election office.
