Bucyrus Events Honor a Woman Pioneer in Aviation
Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and former A-10 Warthog fighter pilot Kim “K.C.” Campbell will headline a celebration next weekend and dedication of a monument to aviation pioneer Lauretta Schimmoler. The series of events pack in inspiring stories, leadership, aviation and family fun.
It's all in support of the Lauretta Schimmoler Museum and the Port Bucyrus site of the first airport in the US established by a woman. Get the slate of events (should you be in north central Ohio next week or know some home folks who may be) in the Richland Source article here.
