Gov. DeWine inaugurated the new OhioSEE pilot program, providing eye care and glasses for students in 15 counties. The in-school program follows-up on mandated eyesight screenings. Based on a model developed some 20 years back, it provides the needed remedies that many students can’t afford. DeWine hopes the pilot will be extended to all Ohio schools by the time his term ends.
