'The Mound Next Door' 

Karla Payne and two other Ohio University students spent six months in an immersive study project at the Adena culture mounds in The Plains, Ohio. They learned about Ohio pre-history as well as a variety of skills needed for displaying their findings. Along the way, they also saw the destruction of and continuing threats to these irreplaceable artifacts.
