Americas - Please Vote for Your NCC Voting Rep Candidates


Meet Your Candidates!

The Non-Country Committee Nominations and Elections Committee (NCC-NEC) is pleased to present the candidate from the Americas region for the position of Non-Country Committee DPCA Voting Representative (NCC Voting Rep).

Note that DPCA is the formal name of Democrats Abroad: Democratic Party Committee Abroad.

Once you meet the candidate from your region and read their candidate statement, you can get to know them better in our Candidate Forum!

Vote in Your Region’s Election!

Deadline to vote is March 28, midnight members’ time

Ranked Choice Voting has now commenced and you can vote through the deadline of March 28th, midnight members' time by filling in the electronic ballot. If you do not have the means to submit an electronic ballot, you may request a PDF ballot by emailing [email protected]; PDF ballots should be returned via email to that same address.

To vote, you must have been a verified member of DA by March 11th, midnight members’ time, and reside in an NCC country within your designated Region.

Voting Process

Balloting will be held via an online Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) ballot (with a PDF ballot available upon request) between:

March 14 - March 28  – closing at midnight members' time

The Americas Regional ballot link was provided in the email sent March 14 to all eligible NCC voting members with the subject: Please Vote for Your NCC Voting Rep Candidates Note: You must provide your FULL NAME and the special VOTING CODE included in the email to be able to cast a vote.

The
Candidate Forum is an open and optional Google Group where candidates can present their statements and additional information about their candidacy; additionally, NCC voters can ask questions to become more familiar with the candidates. Although anyone is invited to view the discussion, only eligible NCC voters will be added to the Forum to post questions after selecting the "Ask to join Group" button at the top of the page. (If you do not see the button, send an email request to: [email protected].)

Regional Election Reporting Meeting: March 29th

We look forward to announcing election results and congratulating our new DPCA NCC Voting Reps during our Regional Election Reporting Meetings on March 29! Regional Vice Chairs will be there to welcome the new NCC Voting Reps and address their NCC members. Attend during your region's time - and feel free to attend the other Region's Meetings as well.
