On Saturday, October 18, millions across the U.S., here in South Africa, and around the world will rise together in a coordinated day of action to say loud and clear: No Tyrants. The power belongs to the people.

The U.S. Administration is escalating its attacks: sending militarized forces into communities, threatening free speech, undermining civil rights and social protections, conducting mass deportations, and manipulating voting rules for its own gain — all while families are struggling. This isn’t just politics. It’s democracy versus dictatorship — and together, we choose democracy.
 

📣 Join us at Massimo’s Pizza in Hout Bay for a family-friendly evening of signmaking and building community as  protest!  

• All nationalities are welcome, so bring your friends and family, but please RSVP by Thurs 16 Oct so we can plan accordingly. Please also reach out to other US Citizens and extend this invitation.
  
  
• Bring the kids - Please email [email protected] to let us know how many children will be coming so we can prepare activities.
  
  
• Bring a sign that expresses your voice or bring materials to make them there. 
  
  
• Photos: We will take photos to share online/publicly. Please feel free to say so if you prefer not to appear in individual or group photos. You can also choose to stand in photos with your sign in covering your face.
