No Tyrants Democracy in the Park - Cape Town 28 March

Join us for a community gathering in solidarity with the No Kings Mass Mobilisation. 

On Saturday 28 March, millions across the US, here in South Africa, and around the world will rise together in a coordinated day of action to say loud and clear: No Tyrants, No Kings, No War. The power belongs to the people!

Authoritarian displays don’t represent who we are. The real strength of a nation comes from its people—from citizens who care enough to speak up, show up, and stand together. In solidarity with the No Kings Day Protests, we’re doing just that—joining voices around the world to say: this isn't just politics. It's democracy versus dictatorship - and together, we choose democracy! 

📣 Join us at Greenpoint Park - Oval tables near Park Café for a community gathering. 

• An afternoon of good food, new friends, and activating voters!
• Information on how to take action from abroad — including volunteers on hand to help US citizens register to vote and request their ballots.

Food & Drink will be available for purchase from local cafés or bring your own. 

Please bring:

• Snacks or desserts to share 
• Bring a sign that expresses your voice or bring materials to make them there. We'll also have some supplies on hand to make signs.
• US & SA flags
• Camp chairs or blankets for extra seating 

🌍    All are welcome, so bring your friends and family!

🇺🇸 Know other US citizens in Cape Town? Invite them to join us.  

Photos: We plan to take photos to share online/publicly. Please feel free to say so if you prefer not to appear in individual or group photos. You can also choose to stand in photos with your sign covering your face, wear sunglasses etc.
