On June 14, the global day of defiance against authoritarianism, Democrats Abroad and their allies showed up in Frankfurt am Main! A crowd some 200 strong met at Frankfurt’s Opernplatz to stand in solidarity with the “No Kings” Day demonstrations taking place across the USA and globally, as communities protested the extremist agenda of the current U.S. regime and rejected corrupt, authoritarian politics in the United States. The afternoon featured speakers, testimonials, and an array of creative and colorful posters and costumes. Music contributed to the defiant and festive atmosphere, and voter registration support was provided for U.S. citizens.
