When is our “Regular” Monthly Meeting?

Holiday party cranks up the spirit for a busy 2026

Between Thanksgiving and the start of 2025 Christmas season, Democrats Abroad’s Frankfurt and Greater Hessen chapter celebrated its by now traditional holiday get-together.  Instead of meeting at a restaurant, this time we planned a potluck supper, in the spacious event room of Frankfurt’s Christ the King Anglican/Episcopal church, where we welcomed around 50 people.

The Frankfurt Resistance Roundtable, our chapter’s protest arm (https://resistance-roundtable-fra.my.canva.site/resistance-roundtable), once again participated in an American protest day on September 1^st with a rally in Frankfurt. 

Chapter members from Hanau to Hofheim and beyond joined the Darmstadt precinct at the lively red, white and blue DA stand set up for the 2025 CSD festivities in Darmstadt.

Resistance Roundtable Frankfurt distributed flyers for Finding new voters at the Mainfest in Frankfurt.  The action kicked off our Get Out the Vote efforts for important elections this fall and laid groundwork for the all-important Midterms in 2026.

With beautiful weather on July 4th, about 30 people from the Frankfurt-Greater-Hessen chapter met in the Günthersburgpark in Frankfurt to celebrate Independence Day with an evening of lively  conversation and delicious food.

On June 14, the global day of defiance against authoritarianism, Democrats Abroad and their allies showed up in Frankfurt am Main! A crowd some 200 strong met at Frankfurt’s Opernplatz to stand in solidarity with the “No Kings” Day demonstrations taking place across the USA and globally,
