The Frankfurt Resistance Roundtable, our chapter’s protest arm (https://resistance-roundtable-fra.my.canva.site/resistance-roundtable), once again participated in an American protest day on September 1st with a rally in Frankfurt. The Labor Day rally, in tune with the Workers over Billionaires theme of over 1000 protests in the USA and abroad, took place in front of the historic stock market on Frankfurt’s Börsenplatz.
What a year it has been! The Frankfurt Resistance Roundtable got going in April, in step with the global Hands Off movement , telling the Trump regime to leave our democratic institutions alone. In May, we protested in front of Frankfurt’s Paulskirche and in June celebrated the global No Kings Day with a large and lively demonstration at the Operplatz. It hasn’t ' “rained on our parade" yet, and we’re already looking ahead to the No Kings 2.0 protest day on October 18th.
