🎆 July 4th Annual BBQ! 🎆

Democrats Abroad is excited to celebrate the United States 250th Anniversary with our annual July 4^th Barbecue!  While we continue to live in challenging times, we need to remember to celebrate and promote our shared democratic goals.  We are once again congregating at John Hendry Park on Trout Lake.

As per tradition, this is a Pot-Luck event, so please bring whatever you fancy to share e.g. side dishes, snacks, desserts, etc.  The Dems Abroad Board will be providing the main course consisting of burgers, hot dogs, and some veggie/vegan options – grab some while supplies last!  We also have condiments, paper plates and utensils covered.

• Please do NOT bring anything in glass containers – it’s against park policy.
• Please also bring your own beverages.

Assuming the weather is good, feel free to bring along lawn games, board games, plus anything you think may be fun to do at the park.  You may also want to bring a blanket and lawn chairs - whatever will make you comfortable.

Make sure to RSVP soon!  It helps us with our planning.  And if you know any fellow Americans who are not DA members, invite them to join in!

For those of you who have not been to Trout Lake, here's some location info:

• The venue is wheelchair accessible.
• Public transit is available via the Commercial–Broadway Station.
• Parking is available in the adjacent lot and surrounding streets.
