Democrats Abroad - BC Mainland Chapter has organized more member training to assist our fellow Americans in voting during the upcoming US elections! Our Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) team has set-up several classes to cover how to assist potential voters in registering to vote as well as in casting votes from abroad.
We are working to expand the number of Americans that vote from British Columbia (and the rest of the world!) and having more volunteers that are capable of assisting voters is one of the most important things we can do to support democracy. To facilitate this effort, we are offering two sets of classes that will be conducted live, via Zoom:
Class A - Voting Basics & Ballot Registration/Request
This class is approximately 90 minutes and is offered on the following dates (all times are PDT):
Class B - Ballot Receipt/Return & Federal Certification
This class is approximately 60 minutes and is offered on the following dates (all times are PDT):
- April 29th - Wednesday at 7:00pm
- May 19th - Tuesday at 12:00pm
- May 26th - Tuesday at 7:00pm
- June 11th - Thursday at 11:30am
Note: Completion of Class A is a prerequisite for taking Class B.
