Since Day One, Anna Marie Mattson has been honoring and fighting for the veteran community. As the current Chair of the Democrats Abroad France Veterans and Military Families Caucus, Anna Marie has really opened up the possibilities for volunteers who wish to contribute to the cause – whether it be collecting donations for the “Chaplain’s Closet” at Landstuhl Medical Center, organizing advocacy efforts for Pershing Hall in Paris, or laying wreaths at ABMC cemeteries, this daughter of a veteran has helped lead those efforts. As we approach the 2025 state and local elections and the 2026 midterm election season, Dems Abroad France members are highly encouraged to reach out to Anna Marie at [email protected] to see how they can best contribute to the mission of advocating for the military-connected community.
