Black History Year 2025 - 'Harriet'

Democrats Abroad Lion City (Singapore) is excited to invite you to join us for an Asia-wide screening of Harriet, taking place online on September 14th at 4:30 am US ET.

In response to the alarming efforts of the Trump administration to hamper diversity and racial justice, Democrats Abroad is recognizing Black History Year in 2025 to affirm our commitment to equal rights and social equity. By joining us for this online event, you won’t just learn more about one of our country’s greatest abolitionists; you will also be joining our stand for human rights and dignity. Your participation helps us make clear that the Democrats of Asia Pacific will not tolerate discrimination and hate.
