DAJ Annual General Meeting Sat June 6, 2026

SAVE THE DATE - RSVP TODAY! Democrats Abroad Japan will host our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 6, 2026 2-3:30/4pm 

• This will be a hybrid meeting involving members from throughout Japan
• Virtual doors and Tokyo Venue will open 1:45pm for mingling and socializing
• Zoom/Webex and schedule details are posted below.

Basic info 

• The National AGM will take place from 2-4:00pm
• What happens at an AGM? 
  • The Executive Committee reports to the membership on progress and finances
  • Get out the vote campaign updates and training
  • Find out how to volunteer
  • Special elections: Meet the candidates
  • Learn about the new logo and communications & fundraising
  • Time to mingle, make new friends and see familiar faces

• Meeting Room #2 on the 4th Floor, Look for the PSC sign

NOTE: You must be a member of Democrats Abroad Japan to participate. 

• Kanto Chapter AGM 4:15-5pm => in person only - find out more HERE
• Other chapter events may follow in Kansai and Tokai. 

Members can attend either online or in-person. We need at least 20 members to make quorum — we hope to see you there!

Our DAJ Bylaws specify that the announcement of the National AGM be made no later than 30 days in advance and that the previous year's minutes be circulated.  This email blast serves as the official announcement for the June 6th AGM. HERE are last year's minutes.
