Join Democrats Abroad Japan Kanto Chapter on July 4 as we send a simple yet strong message to the corrupt and increasingly authoritarian Trump administration: we will not let this be democracy's last birthday.
Come join us to resist the Trump regime and stand up for our constitution and democracy!
BASIC SCHEDULE

8:10 stroll to the Statue of Liberty
Actions we can take - some will be coming from this PAGE
photos to share on social media by the Statue and LOVE sign
8:30PM - Nomunicationat a watering hole near by (optional)
What to bring? - signs, big fans or use umbrellas if raining with a simple message such as "I will fight for THE ENVIRONMENT, TRANS YOUTH WOMEN'S RIGHTS" etc.
Our operative phrase this year is "I will fight for ..." We have several sample signs you can download and edit HERE. (FYI in 2017 it was "protect .." in 2018 "resist ..." in 2019 "stand up for ...") Given all that has happened in the last 5 months, a stronger phrase with an I statement of commitment to action seems in order. If this is too strong for you feel free to use something else
One of our new members and volunteers made this great list of issues and threats - WHAT WE WILL FIGHT FOR. Thank you!
