July 17: Good Trouble Lives On

Good Trouble Lives On is a National Day of Action to respond to the attacks on our civil and human rights by the current administration. It is based on the term “good trouble” coined by American politician and civil rights leader John Lewis who died on July 17th, 2020.

We are facing the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations. Whether you’re outraged by attacks on voting rights, the disappearances of our neighbors, or the assault on free speech and our right to protest – this is an opportunity to voice your feelings and objections. Join us in solidarity with Good Trouble Lives On,org demonstrations across the world.

While others wish us to be divided, we know the power of coming together.  so, let's remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.  Come participate with members of Democrats Abroad Toulouse on Thursday, July 17th at 6:30 pm at the Place du Capitole, Toulouse, for Flash Mob Photo Op followed by cocktails mixed with a big dose of our consternation.
