August Sydney Meet-Up - Train Station Outreach and Annual General Meeting!

Please join fellow DAA New South Wales/Sydney members for the monthly in-person meet-up at the Aurora Rooftop Hotel on Tuesday 18 August 2026.  Come early for Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) Outreach!! 

Come to the Elizabeth Street entrance to Sydney's Central Train station at 5PM.  Join fellow DAA members in promoting voting in 2026 by handing out VoteFromAbroad.org cards.  Look for Chapter leaders with the banner and VFA cards.  Festive red/white/blue attire encouraged!  

Adjourn to the Aurora around 6:15, grab a drink and a snack, for a 6:30PM start.  Can't make the train station outreach at 5?  Join us when you can for the meet-up. 

Agenda:  This meeting will also serve as the NSW Chapter's Annual General Meeting (AGM).  We don't have any Chapter elections this year, so it will be a low-key AGM.  We'll have an update of DA and DAA news to kick off the AGM, as applicable, and then we'll resume discussion of GOTV and other outreach activities.  In addition to the Fun Run/Walk coming up in late August, there will be Phonebanking Action Hours starting in mid-August (Get your training now!).  Don't forget to request your ballots www.votefromabroad.org.

DAA NSW Sydney Meet-Ups are generally held the third Tuesday of the month.

The Aurora Rooftop Hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Elizabeth St. exit from Sydney’s Central Train Station (324 Elizabeth St., Surry Hills, 2010).  Come up the stairs, and find us in the alcove straight ahead.
