City2Surf GOTV: Need Volunteers!

NEED VOLUNTEERS!!

DAA Members in Sydney will once again this year set-up near the Rose Bay War Memorial along Sydney's City2Surf Route to promote U.S. voting from abroad.  Slower runners and walkers will generally be receptive to checking out our banner and taking a VoteFromAbroad card. 

WHAT:  While cheering for the runners and walkers, hand out VoteFromAbroad.org cards to Americans and others with American friends ("Tell An American to Vote").  Encourage voting from abroad and answer any questions as time permits.

When:   Sunday 9 August 2026.  DAA leaders will arrive at 9AM and plan to stay until at least 11AM.  Volunteers are welcome to stay later.        

Where to Meet and How to Find Us:  Look for the VoteFromAbroad.org banner, at the Rose Bay War Memorial on New South Head Road.  From the Rose Bay Wharf, walk straight out to New South Head Road and turn left (see map).
