Every 2 years, we elect leaders to keep Democrats Abroad NL going strong. Our incoming leaders will face a challenging time as we look forward to the 2026 mid-term elections. The following positions are open to election for a period of 2 years:

• Vice Chair
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Legal Counsel
• Member-at-Large (2 people)
DPCA Voting Representatives (5 people) *You can hold any other officer position and be elected a voting representative, too.* 

All DANL members in good standing can nominate candidates and run for office. You can nominate yourself or someone else for one or more positions. Learn more about the roles here.

NOMINATIONS and STATEMENT > Deadline: 2 April

Send your nomination and statement by April 2, 2025 23:59 (Amsterdam time). Send your nominations for yourself or someone else to our NEC here. Include a photo (optional), candidate statement (max. 350 words) with a link to a candidate video (optional) If sending a video we suggest uploading it as a private video to Youbtube or uploading it to your cloud/drive and sending the link. ELECTION > Annual General Meeting: 13 April

The election will take place at live at our Democrats Abroad Netherlands Annual General Meeting on 13 April. You can also join our meeting via Zoom. RSVP here for the address.
