Election Day

You won’t have a “ticket to ride” If you stay on the side Everything’s not ‘gonna be all right’ If you stay home and lose sight Guarantee “no satisfaction” If you don’t take action It will be “all she wrote” If you don’t get out and vote. The “change you want to see” Starts with one person, me On this day there is neither rich nor poor So “Don’t go knockin’ on my door” “A change is gonna come” our way “Get up, Stand Up” on Election Day!
