Director of Strategic Initiatives, Steering Committee - Global Women's Caucus; Germany DPCA Voting Rep; Wiesbaden-Mainz Region Chapter Chair
Join us on Wednesday, November 19, at 1 pm ET / 7 pm CET for a powerful discussion with Carrie Baker, Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies at Smith College.
Professor Baker, who has been targeted by a conservative “watch list” for outspoken faculty, will share her personal experience with censorship and attacks on academic freedom. More importantly, she will provide insight into the ongoing rollback of reproductive rights across the United States—rights that have been dismantled state by state and, in many places, eliminated entirely.
This conversation will not only shed light on the crisis facing millions of Americans but also provide insight into the challenges they face. Still, it will also focus on constructive actions we, as Democrats Abroad, can take to defend freedom, bodily autonomy, and reproductive justice for all.
Don’t miss this timely and urgent event.
