Join us for an afternoon of postcarding and voter assistance! We’ll be sending postcards to Democrats Abroad members we haven’t been able to reach by email or telephone, reminding them to request their ballots and vote. All postcarding materials will be provided.
Need help voting? Our voter assistance team will also be available to help you request or return your ballot, answer questions or concerns about recent U.S. Postal Service developments, and guide you through the voting process.
Or just come by, write some postcards, and enjoy spending time with other voters!

We'll begin with a short presentation and then offer individual help with voter questions. Bring your questions—and bring another American who could use some help voting!

📖 October 8 | RENNES | No Land to Light On

Location: Franco American Institute in Central Rennes
Join us for a conversation about immigration and belonging through Yara Zgheib's novel No Land to Light On.
The novel follows a young Syrian couple in Boston whose lives are upended when Hadi is detained at the airport after returning from his father's funeral in Jordan.
We'll talk about the novel, the immigrant experience, and the ways immigration policy affects individual lives and families.
Reading the book is encouraged but not required to join the conversation.

Costumes, food, conversation, a little Halloween fun—and help voting from abroad if you need it!
We will show solidarity with No Kings/No Tyrants protests in the United States and, as the midterm elections draw near, share information and plans about voting and Vote by Email and how YOU can help someone else vote. The work of strengthening democracy doesn't begin or end on Election Day. Come meet other Americans, join the conversation, and explore ways we can stay involved for the long haul together.
