Every July, disabled Americans across the globe celebrate the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA was signed into law on July 26, 1990.
26% of Americans are disabled. Disability knows no bounds - not race, ethnicity, gender, nor sexuality. Many members of our organization and people who use VFA for voter registration are disabled. Welcome them with open arms by celebrating Disabled Pride Month!
