Pro-Choice Meet-Up!

Join Democrats Abroad in Göteborg on Saturday, May 14 at 1 PM in protest of the impending overturn of Roe v. Wade and what has for fifty years been a constitutional right to abortion. Be part of DA’s Global Day of Action!

There are 26 states poised to restrict or outright prohibit the right to abortion even during the first trimester of pregnancy, even in cases of rape, incest, fetal nonviability or threat to the mother’s health. Texas has empowered vigilantes to sue anyone and everyone, anywhere, who aids an abortion after cardiac-like activity can be detected – at about six weeks – before most women even know they’re pregnant. Efforts are already underway in Texas and other states to restrict rights even more.

MEET us at Condeco on Fredsgatan (at Harry Hörnes Plats near Kungsportsplatsen). We’ll be upstairs, in the back, with a small sign or flag so you can find us. (Please get something to eat or drink on your way in.)
