The position of Vice-Chair for the Democrats Abroad Spain country committee is currently vacant, and we are seeking candidates to fill this position. Serving as Vice-Chair of DA Spain would be a great way to become more involved in our efforts to defend democracy in America by taking back control of Congress in the mid-term elections this year.
The Vice-Chair supports the Chair, is a member of the DA Spain Executive Committee, is a voting representative of DA Spain in the Democratic Party for Citizens Abroad (commonly known as DA Global), and fills the role of the Chair if the chair is unavailable. If the position of Chair were to become vacant, the Vice Chair would become the Chair. Under DA Spain’s by-laws, since the current Chair is male, any candidate must not identify as male.
