As we asserted back in July: Infrastructure negotiations likely will lead to make or break legislation for climate change mitigation, millions who are skeptical about our two-party government, and Democrat prospects for the midterms. Since then, our Democratic caucuses in the House and Senate have been unable to deliver. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and Build Back Better Act remain stuck in limbo, perhaps just two votes short of success. Join members of proDA to learn more about and discuss the status of the negotiations, the prospects for passage, and the consequences of further delay. We will advocate for action, urging all of us to intensify our efforts. Time is short and so, too, is the patience of those whose needs are not being met!
Please RSVP for the Zoom link.

About our presenters:
Patrick is owner of Lakeside Tax Service, which specializes in tax preparation for U.S. citizens living abroad.
Ilona is a long-time member of DA Lake Chapala, with 36 years of experience filing U.S. tax returns from abroad.
Join the Democrats Abroad Global Disability Caucus for a panel discussion where we’ll celebrate and talk about the history of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, provide some context, raise issues and hear from a panel of DA members and guest speakers as they share their own experiences with disability and the challenges, issues and successes they have faced.
We hope to hear what they would want us to know about living with disability as well as what we can do to create a better DA for all members who are experiencing their own challenges. We hope this will be yet another meaningful discussion of many conversations in the coming months and years!
